To purchase a K9 from a reputable breeder, it costs anywhere from $12,000 to $20,000 depending on the skills, training, and needs of the dog.

Each of our K9s is provided a custom-fit kevlar vest that is made from the same material that their human handler wears. They cost approximately $4,000 each.

When our K9s retire from service, their Handlers can “purchase” them from the City of Woodbury for $1. The K9 Fund then provides a $3,000 retirement fund for the care and feeding of the K9.
