WOODBURY POLICE K-9 FUND MAKES DONATION TO WOODBURY K-9 TEAM

In Woodbury, our Police K-9’s are certified in narcotics detection, and while their noses are their strongest tool – it also puts them at risk for accidental overdoes or exposure to drugs like opioids or fentanyl during searches.  In partnership with Inver Grove Heights Animal Hospital and the Bruce Stafford Public Safety Appreciation Fund, our K-9 teams have each been provided with Narcan, an inter nasal spray.  The Narcan is an immediate, on the spot treatment for overdose or exposure.  Each of the four handlers will be carrying a doggie sized dose of Narcan to help protect their dogs, who work so hard to protect the Woodbury Community.
